Commissioner's office hiring new research program director


The Montana University System Office of the Commissioner of Higher Education is accepting applications for a new research program director. 

This full-time contract position will be a leader and coordinator of the state research agenda.  The new grant-funded position is intended to help advance a thriving state research enterprise to the next level of success.  The director position is supported by, and will serve as the coordinator of, high-profile statewide grants awarded through the Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research and Institutional Development Awards (EPSCoR/IDEA Program). The research program director will report to the deputy commissioner of higher education for academic, research and student affairs and serves the state university systems governing Board of Regents of Higher Education. 

The position will be based in Helena, with travel to Montana campuses and communities, with a salary range is $105,000 to $115,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
