Free Childcare Available for Spring Commencement for Faculty and Staff Children


The MSU Child Development Center (the laboratory preschool of the Early Childhood Education & Child Services academic program) will be available for children up to age 13 while parents who are faculty or staff are attending the Spring commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 3rd.

Registration will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no fee for families to use this service.

Registration requests must include completion of a Registration, Emergency Contact, and Release form. To fill out the form, visit http://www.montana.edu/hhd/cdccommencementregistration.pdfCompleted forms must be received by 5pm on Friday, April 25th. Completed forms should be sent to Miranda Kacer, Preschool Director in Herrick Hall 113A. Confirmation of registration will be sent by email on Monday, April 28th.

Parents attending the morning ceremony can drop children off at 8am and pick up immediately following the ceremony at 12:00pm. Parents attending the afternoon ceremony can drop children off at 12pm and pick up immediately following the ceremony at 4:00pm. Two healthy snacks will be provided for the children. The MSU Child Development Center is a nut-free facility. Special dietary needs must be indicated on the Registration, Emergency Contact, and Release form.
