Student Research Internships at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History
MSU students are encouraged to apply for six $1,500 fellowships to serve as research interns at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History (NMNH) this coming spring break. The objective is to place highly motivated undergraduate students in a professional work environment at the National Museum of Natural History, where the students can:
- Gain practical experience by working in a professional museum setting
- Develop new skills by learning from NMNH professionals
- Create professional partnerships

Students are encouraged to fill out the application form and submit it to the USP office in 130-J Gaines Hall. The application deadline is January 22, 2013.
