29th Annual Montana State Science Olympiad Competition

MT Sci Oly LogoThe Science/Math Resource Center will be hosting the 29th Annual Montana State Science Olympiad competition on the MSU campus Tuesday November 26th. The Science Olympiad is a science based competition for high school and middle school students.

The competition is run similar to a track meet with fourteen events in both the high school and middle school divisions. Topics for the events touch every corner of science, from engineering to earth science to music. Students will be competing in different events throughtout the MSU campus on the day of the competition. The Science Olympiad draws some of Montana's smartest grade school students to compete for medals and a chance to continue to the National Competition in Orlando Florida, May 2014.

The Montana Science Olympiad is currently looking for volunteers to assist event supervisors on the day of the competition (Nov. 26). If interested please contact our office by phone (406-994-6768), email (mtscioly@gmail.com) or visit our office in 401 Linfield Hall.
