Extension finalist Barbara Petty to present public forum

Barbara Petty will be on campus Oct. 7-8. Petty earned a doctorate in education with an emphasis in adult education and organizational learning from the University of Idaho, as well as a master's degree in human development and the family from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a bachelor's degree in vocational home economics education from Southwest Missouri State University. Petty has worked in Extension since 1995 after teaching at the high school level for 20 years. Her Extension appointments included program coordinator at the University of Nebraska and Extension Educator in the University of Idaho Extension system. She is currently a professor at the UI and Eastern District director for UI Extension. Petty will give a presentation at a public forum set for Monday, Oct. 7, at 9:45 a.m. in 138 Animal Bioscience Building.
