Assistive Technology Presentation

The Disability, Re-entry and Veteran Services Office will be hosting a presentation on Assistive Technology (AT) in Higher Education. Assistive Technology includes assistive, adaptive, and rehabilitative devices that promotes greater independence by enabling people to perform tasks that they were formerly unable to accomplish, or had great difficulty accomplishing.
The presentation will cover:
* Tools for Note Taking
* Tools for Reading/Writing
* Tools for Organizational/Task Management
This presentation is open to students, faculty and staff who would like to know more about what technology is available to assist them in an academic environment.
