Friends of KGLT 3rd Annual Music Swap
Bozeman, MT, Emerson Cultural Center
KGLT's third annual Music Swap is coming to the Emerson Center Ballroom in Bozeman from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday, November 16th! This is the perfect opportunity to search for musical treasures as well as meet local musicians, learn more about groups producing live music, and mingle with music lovers of all ages and interests. Proceeds will be donated to KGLT, SouthwestMontana's alternative public radio station.
Vendors will sell music related merchandise, and donation and consignment items are accepted. New this year, Friends of KGLT has invited bands, music organizations, studios and more to participate. As of November 4, 15 vendors and a handful of bands, studios and organizations have signed up with several more in the works.
A few of the vendors include music stores Cactus Records from Bozeman and Ear Candy from Missoula. KGLT DJs Ron Sanchez, Nate Howe and Jim Kehoe along with Mr. Ed, Tom Azure and Todd the Vinyl Junky all return to music swap offering a great collection of albums and music memorabilia. First-time participants include Bada Bing Bada Bang Bada Boom selling stereo equipment, Head Room headphones and many others.
"The third annual Music Swap promises to be the best yet," said Ellen King Rodgers, KGLT's General Manager. "The Emerson is centrally located and MSU students are excited! We have gotten lots of calls from new vendors as well as new display tables for arts related organizations. This hits at a great time, just before the holidays!
