A Place at the Table
Strand Union Building, Procrastinator Theater
We have the privilege to live in the world's wealthiest nation, yet 14.5 percent of U.S. households -- nearly 49 million Americans, including 15.9 million children (or I in 4) -- struggle to put food on the table or are hungry.
According to Jeff Bridges, Academy Award winning actor, spokesperson for the No Kid Hungry Campaign, and cofounder of the End Hunger Network, "If another nation was doing this to our children, we'd be at war."
You are invited to attend a FREE screening of A Place at the Table in the Procrastinator Theater, on Monday, November 18 from 5:30-7:30. A donation of canned food is suggested. All food collected will be donated to the Gallatin Valley Food Bank as part of the Can the Griz Food Drive.
The cost of this event is: free
