"Building For Your Future" -- Art Saturdays creative workshop

Part of this year's President's Fine Art Series, "Building for Your Future" is a free, hands-on creative workshop geared to students in grades 6-8.  Taught by members of the MSU chapter of the American Institute of Architecture students, workshop participants will learn architectural principles from a skyscraper building activity.  The hands-on workshop will also include a scavenger hunt around campus looking for architectural styles and building types. 


"Building for Your Future" is one of four free workshops that will be offered by the College of Arts and Architecture during the month of March.  Called "Art Saturdays", this workshop series is designed to engage our community's youth in creative thinking and the joy of artistic expression.
