Seeking nominations for Norman J. Peterson Outstanding International Student Award
The Office of International Programs is accepting award nominations for Norman J. Peterson Outstanding International Student Award. This award is in recognition of an outstanding MSU international undergraduate student in honor of Dr. Peterson for his contributions to international affairs at MSU and to encourage the award winner to be a lifelong, engaged global citizen.
Criteria: Student must have a CGPA of 3.5 or above, must be a degree-seeking MSU undergraduate with junior or senior standing, must be an international student, must be involved in research, community service and/or student organizations, and must exhibit leadership potential.
Nominate an international student(s) in form of a short essay describing how the nominee meets the criteria for this award.
Nominations can be submitted by individual employees (including supervisors, direct reports and peers of the nominees), students, university departments, and units. Recipients will be selected by a committee of MSU faculty and staff and will be awarded at the 91st Annual Student Day of Recognition on April 8.
