A Quick Look at using Gaming Elements in your Course

Tuesday, March 25, 2014 from Noon - 1:00 pm
Strand Union Building, Room 232

Much is discussed in higher education lately about the benefits of gaming related activities and approaches to educational experiences. In particular the opportunity to fail repeatedly at a task without large penalties, until the task is mastered. Many technological tools allow us to add these and other kinds of gaming elements into out courses, whether online or face to face. This session will look at some simple and achievable techniques to make your course more game-y!
