Adopt a Wednesday
Adopt a Wednesday. Make A Difference.
The MSU Office of Activities and Engagement (OAE) invites the MSU community to join us in hosting dinners on Wednesday evenings at the Community Café, a program of the Gallatin Valley Food Bank. The café provides a hot dinner to anyone who wishes to join them seven evenings a week, 365 days a year. The OAE is responsible to rally volunteers each Wednesday evening to seat, serve, and engage with the customers of the café.
To help us support the Community Café throughout the summer, we have implemented the Adopt-a-Wednesday program. Because the summer months become especially hard to fill without our student volunteers, we need YOU. Your department or organization may choose to volunteer on any Wednesday not already reserved. Just rally eight to ten colleagues, friends, or family members to serve the 4:30 to 7:30pm dinner shift. It's that easy!
The Adopt-a-Wednesday opportunity allows your department or organization to participate in an enriched, team-building activity with your co-workers and friends and you will be making a difference in the lives of each customer of the Community Café.
