A Safe Zone Module 1 Workshop will be offered Wednesday, October 22nd from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
Interested in learning more about LGBTQ issues and potentially becoming part of an ally network for LGBTQ students at MSU? Safe Zone is a program that appears on campuses across the nation to build awareness and support of LGBTQIQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex and questioning) individuals. The Safe Zone program offers trainings each semester to help educate our community and promote an inclusive campus environment.
Safe Zone Module 1: Awareness and Education
This workshop is designed to be an introduction to LGBTQIQ terminology, experiences, and issues. This workshop addresses definitions related to sexual orientation and gender expression, the coming out process, and LGBTQIQ resources available.
