Lunch & Learn: How to Fund Your Research with an SBIR from the Department of Defense
- Wednesday, January 7, 2015 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm
- Barnard Hall, 127 - view map
Bring your lunch and learn how you can tap into the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program to fund your research. In this free session, you'll learn how you, as a university researcher, can qualify for hundreds of thousands of dollars of federal funding that does not have to be matched or repaid. Representatives from TechLink and the Montana Technology Innovation Partnership will get you quickly up to speed on the SBIR program, qualification requirements and the application process. You'll also hear about free proposal development and submission assistance available to you as an MSU researcher. Of course, we'll leave plenty of time to answer your specific questions as well.
Researchers in all areas are welcome to attend, although this session will be focused on funding from the Department of Defense (DoD).
Watch the MSU Calendar of Events for upcoming brown bag sessions focused on SBIR funding from other federal agencies.
This event is made possible through a partnership between the MSU Office of Research and Economic Development, the MSU TechLink Center and the Montana Technology Innovation Partnership.
