Lisa Rebenitsch is a candidate for Assistant Professor in Computer Science and will present her research on Monday, January 26, at 4:10 p.m. in EPS 108. Her topic is "Virtual Reality and Cybersickness".
Lisa Rebenitsch is working towards a PhD in computer science at Michigan State University, and is expecting to graduate spring 2015. She graduated summa com laude with the Outstanding Senior in computer science award of the year from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. User interfaces attracted her to the field, and a tour of a virtual reality system promptly lead to a dream to work on 3D systems. She has programmed robots, earthquake web applications, and a modular virtual reality treasure hunt.
