Kelli Buckingham-Meyer is a research specialist in the CBE Standardized Biofilm Methods Lab (SBML) and conducts laboratory research. She has a B.S. in microbiology from MSU. In addition to conducting testing projects for industry, she completes contract research and interlaboratory studies for the EPA that are consistent with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) guidelines. She has written, implemented, and revised more than 30 standard operating procedures (SOPs) over the course of the lab's contracts with the EPA.
Diane Walker is the lab manager for the Standardized Biofilm Methods Lab (SBML) and oversees its intern program. She has degrees in biology and engineering and a master's in environmental engineering from MSU. She conducts testing projects for industry and government, Diane has served as the Quality Assurance Officer (QAO) for the SBML for nearly 10 years under the lab's EPA contracts.
