Upulee Kanewala is a candidate for Assistant Professor in Computer Science and will present her research on Monday, February 2, at 4:10 p.m. in EPS 108. Her topic is "Predicting Metamorphic Relations for Testing Scientific Software: A Machine Learning Approach Using Graph Kernels".
Upulee Kanewala is a Ph.D. candidate in the computer science department at Colorado State University. Upulee's main research area is software engineering with a focus on software testing. She has been studying the testing of scientific software, automated test oracle creation, and test automation. Her work involves the application of machine learning techniques to software engineering problems. She earned an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University and a B.S.E. from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. In 2014, she was named an international presidential fellow at Colorado State University and an ISTeC Doctoral Student Scholar by the CSU Information Science & Technology Center.
