Jan Poppendieck, Professor Emerita of Sociology at Hunter College, City University of New York; and Director of Public Policy at the New York City Food Policy Center at the CUNY School of Public Health will be on campus on April 16th to deliver the final SFBS Seminar for Spring semester. She is the author of three books: "Breadlines Knee Deep in Wheat: Food Assistance in the Great Depression", "Sweet Charity? Emergency Food and the End of Entitlement", and "Free for All: Fixing School Food in America". Her presentation at MSU is titled "Want amid Plenty".
