USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture Director Dr. Sonny Ramaswamy to Visit MSU

Sonny Ramaswamy, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) director, will be touring and visiting Montana State University on July 29th. The MSU Office of Research and Economic Development and the College of Agriculture will be hosting Dr. Ramaswamy’s visit. Faculty will share current research on pest management, soil, weeds, crops and livestock. Dr. Ramaswamy will also tour MSU’s biosafety-level two and three labs and will meet with MSU research administration, faculty and students. On Wednesday, July 29, at 1:15 p.m. - 2:45 p.m., Dr. Ramaswamy will give a public seminar and reserve time for questions and answers for the public and MSU students, faculty and staff in room 138 of the Animal Bioscience Building.
