Please join the Office of Activities and Engagement in partnership with the Gallatin Valley Land Trust (GVLT) for a great start to the fall semester. We will be recruiting MSU students to join us for 4 hours of service working on our local Main Street to the Mountains trail system. This is an amazing and beautiful series of trails that when all connected will create a path from downtown Bozeman into the mountains surrounding our valley in multiple directions. The Gallatin Valley Land Trust is a local non-profit organization that connects people, communities, and open lands through conservation of working farms and ranches, healthy rivers, and wildlife habitat, and the creation of trails in the Montana headwaters of the Missouri and Upper Yellowstone Rivers. GVLT is our community land trust and is a member-supported, nonprofit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors representing the communities they serve.
Transportation, supplies, equipment, and lunch will be provided to all volunteers. We will meet at 8:30 am in front of the SUB (on the northside) on Sunday, August 23rd and will work from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on a local trail. Contact Brianna Cronin in the MSU Office of Activities and Engagement with questions by calling 406-994-7475 or email Brianna at email@example.com. Stay tuned for more information to come.
Free with transportation and lunch provided!
