Ashley Beck is a PhD student in microbiology at MSU. Her research focus is on metabolic modeling of cyanobacteria and synthetic microbial communities. She studies and works at the CBE under the supervision of Dr. Ross Carlson, associate professor in chemical and biological engineering. Ashley received her undergraduate degree in biology and mathematics from Central College in Pella, IA.
