Zack Jay is a postdoctoral researcher in the lab of MSU-CBE faculty member Ross Carlson, associate professor in chemical and biological engineering. Zack’s research focuses on computational physiology and he is currently working on metabolic modeling of electron fluxes for fundamental understanding and biofuels synthesis as part of the DOE Center for Biological Electron Transfer and Catalysis (BETCy) grant. Zack received his Ph.D. in ecology and environmental sciences from MSU’s Department of Land Resources and Environmental Sciences and his master’s degree in biology from Northern Arizona University.
If you would like to meet with Zack, please contact him at firstname.lastname@example.org
Presentation: "In silico analysis of electron partitioning and energy conservation in Clostridium thermocellum str. DSM 1313" at the weekly CBE seminar in Roberts 321.
