Robin Gerlach is a professor in MSU's Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering. His research area is environmental biotechnology and bioremediation. Dr. Gerlach is affiliated with several research entities across MSU including: Center for Biofilm Engineering, Thermal Biology Institute, and the Molecular Biosciences Program.
In 2015, Dr. Gerlach spent six months on sabbatical at the University of Tübingen in Germany. At this week's seminar he will recap his work in Germany and share his insight into bioinformatics and reactive transport modeling.
