2015 Great Montana ShakeOut

MSU is located in a seismically active earthquake hazard zone. Earthquakes are unpredictable and may strike at any time. The 2015 Great Montana ShakeOut drill, which will take place across Montana and the Rocky Mountain region at 10:21 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21.
The event is organized by the State of Montana Disaster and Emergency Services, Governor's Office of Community Service, Montana Bureau of Mines and Geology, the American Red Cross of Montana, and local partners.
State government agencies, local governments, school districts, and federal agencies all participate in this opportunity to conduct a "Drop, Cover, and Hold On" drill and to share information about campus emergency planning with local and community partners.
