Are you interested in learning how to use horses in teaching in all disciplines? This clinic will introduce Equine Assisted Learning programs and the application of horses into teaching. Leadership, teambuilding, communication, and behavior principles will be practiced using horse-centered activities. Participants will also engage in creative writing, goal setting, networking, and relationship building scenarios.
No horse or horse experience is necessary! All participants will engage in equine activities on the ground only!
Presenters: Dr. Shannon Arnold: MSU Agricultural Education; Dr. Shannon Moreaux: MSU Equine Science, Amy Prechter: Cedar Ridge Equines and other Equine Specialists from FreshSteps Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and the Founder of the Forgotten Soldier Program.
