International Education Week welcomes Deanna Beaumont to tell about her10 years’ experience in international humanitarian work including with Doctors Without Borders, the Work Food Program, UNICEF, MERLIN and RedR, in a large variety of countries and regions including Kashmir, Pakistan, South Sudan, Uganda, Myanmar, Thailand and Nepal. Most recently she was a first responder to the April 2015 Nepal earthquake. Beaumont is currently in the process of establishing a business consulting on organizational learning for aid organizations in the area of instructional and information design. A native of Australia, Ms. Beaumont has a Masters in Humanitarian Logistics and Management from the University of Lugano in Switzerland.
