Tenzin Phuntsog, founder of the Tibet Film Archive, and Joy Dietrich, former editor at The New York Times, join forces to work on an extraordinary community portrait film about Tibetan exiles. Join the School of Film and Photography for a talk with the New York-based filmmakers about their new documentary project that had them traversing the Himalayan mountains in India and Nepal, and the high peaks of Montana for a rare look into their filmmaking process. Currently, Visiting Assistant Professors of Film in Bozeman, the duo will speak about the conditions of the Tibetan diaspora and misconceptions about their historical legacy.
