Town Hall for Campus Unity
- Monday, December 5, 2016 from 4:00pm to 5:30pm
- Strand Union Building - view map
We recognize that many members of our community are experiencing a heightened level of fear and uncertainty since the election and an increase nationwide in expressions and acts of racism, anti-semitism, misogyny and homophobia and other forms of political intolerance that have followed it. As a community, it is important that we work together to actively reject bigotry and build a climate of inclusion and respect at MSU. The Town Hall for Campus Unity is an opportunity for all students, staff and faculty to come together and be heard. We invite you to participate in this Town Hall to share your fears, and importantly, your hopes about what can be done to ensure that our campus community is supportive and inclusive. Please join this conversation on Dec. 5 between 4-5:30 p.m. in the SUB Ballroom A. Come to express your views and support each other as a community. Faculty and members of the administration will be present and desire to listen first and learn from what members of our community have to share.
