Host Families Needed for North African and Middle Eastern Students
Twenty undergraduate students from North Africa and the Middle East will participate in a U.S. Department of State-sponsored summer training program — Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs (NEA/AC) Student Leaders program — and we are currently looking for host families.
This program will provide the undergraduate students with contemporary issues and leadership development training, including a variety of educational and recreational field trips within Montana, Wyoming and New York.
The homestay will give the students the opportunity to know American culture and experience the local Bozeman community.
Date: Friday, July 14th (afternoon) - Sunday, July 16th (evening)
As a host, it is your responsibility to provide your student with:
- A private room for sleeping and a place to hang up their clothing. If the bedroom has two beds, you can double up and shared bathroom is also ok.
- 3 meals
- Use of basic household facilities and services (phone for local calls, shower, laundry, etc);
If you would like to be their host family (or need more information) please contact Makiko Diehl at firstname.lastname@example.org or 406-994-7944 right away. We also welcome referrals to trusted friends and family so please feel free to pass along this announcement.
