Bozeman's 3rd Annual Jewish Film Festival Continues With "A.K.A. Nadia."
The film will be screened at 7 p.m., Wednesday, May 31st, in the Procrastinator Theatre on the MSU campus. The event is free and open to the public.
AKA Nadia is a tense and compelling drama about what happens when your past catches up with you. Maya is a happily married mother of two and successful choreographer living in Israel. But Maya wasn’t always Maya from Israel. In another life, 20 years before, she was Nadia, an Arab woman in love with Nimer, a Palestine Liberation Organisation activist. One evening Maya spots a figure from her previous life and her world starts to unravel. She must make difficult decisions, maybe lose all she has fought hard for and accept the consequences of her past and her real identity as Nadia.
The Jewish Film Festival is sponsored by Congregation Beth Shalom, the MSU Diversity Awareness Office, the MSU Film School, the Bozeman Film Society, Movie Lovers, Inc, and a number of generous individual and family sponsors.
