CBE Seminar Series Presents Amanda Fuchs

Amanda Fuchs is a PhD student working under Dr. Valerie Copie in MSU’s Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. Amanda earned her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin. She is the recipient of a 2016 Kopriva Graduate Student Fellowship.
She will present “Metabolic changes in macrophages as a result of exposure to Pseudomonas aeruginosa biofilms,” at this week's seminar. Her presentation will focus on the crosstalk between metabolism and immune cell responses in human macrophages during in vitro activation and co-culture with Pseudomonas aeruginosa biofilms.
