CBE Seminar Series Presents Dr. Sara Branco

Dr. Sara Branco is an assistant professor in MSU’s Department of Microbiology and Immunology. Sara is an evolutionary biologist and her research is focused on the origins and maintenance of fungal diversity and adaptation. Although she has a particular interest in local adaptation, her work covers the range of scales from communities to genomes to genes. Her talk “Fungal adaptation: From communities to genes,” will focus on the environmental factors involved in fungal adaption both at the community and population level.
