John Deere Ag Expo
- Thursday, November 9, 2017 to Saturday, November 11, 2017, from 8:00am to 5:00pm
For the fifth consecutive year, Montana State University will host more than a thousand junior high and high school students for the John Deere Ag Expo, set for Thursday, Nov. 9, through Saturday, Nov. 11. The event is sponsored by the Montana FFA Foundation and regional John Deere dealers and is free and open to the public.
Over the course of the three days, hundreds of Montana FFA and 4-H members from across the state will compete in 25 career development events including: agricultural mechanics and food science presentations, agronomy workshops and agricultural communication seminars. The expo will also bring to campus numerous industry professionals and staff and faculty in MSU’s College of Agriculture. Students will have a variety of opportunities to learn about agriculture in Montana, meet with MSU faculty, tour the campus and facilities, and learn about future careers in agriculture.
