The purpose of this panel is to discuss the history, value, and practicality of modern reinvestment movements, such as the one taking place at MSU. The panel will begin by addressing the history of these movements, and their roots in Apartheid South Africa. Our panel speakers will then address contemporary environmental and social issues being addressed by reinvestment movements today, and the power we have as individuals to initiate global change.
