On Friday, February 2, 2018, from 4-to-5 pm at the Procrastinator Theater, there will be the first of several informal presentations on career opportunities following graduation. Three presenters will share their experiences that led them to different and rewarding careers. This one-hour event will be a discussion with interested students, allowing all students to question the presenters on the challenges and benefits associated with the career paths chosen. The topics to be addressed at the presentation will include: (1) the progress and nature of the presenters’ careers following graduation from college; (2) the opportunities that currently exist for graduates in these fields; (3) how best to prepare for possible employment in these fields; and (4) what is it that the presenters wish someone had told them when they were in college?
Our February 2, presenters will be:
Bruce Campbell. Bruce is an attorney and was the Chair of the Product Liability National Practice Group at a law firm based in Seattle. Bruce has litigated disputes throughout the world.
John McGregor. John is the Senior Vice-President of Mountain Operations for Boyne Resorts. Most recently, John assumed responsibility as the Chief Operating Officer for the company’s day resorts, as well as continuing to oversee ski operations at Big Sky Resort.
Stephanie Lynn. Stephanie is the Education and Communications Coordinator for the Gallatin River Task Force, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to preserving the water quality of the Gallatin River watershed. Among her job responsibilities, Stephanie teaches children of all ages about natural phenomenon as diverse as alpine weather and carnivorous wetland plants.
