The Honors College proudly presents a lecture by Dr. Ben Leubner entitled "Gaming Ulysses: Literature, Computer Science, and the Creation of Other Worlds." Dr. Leubner is a professor in the Honors College and an English professor in the College of Letters and Sciences.
The lecture will comment on a recently launched program by Joe Nugent and a dedicated team of students at Boston College, Joycestick, a VR simulation of James Joyce’s Ulysses, which points towards a future in which literary studies and computer science merge.
This presentation is part of the Honors Presents Lecture Series. This lecture is free and open to the public.
