Spring Fruit Tree Pruning & Care Workshop

This FREE workshop will cover pruning fruit trees along with other tips for a successful spring start. Brent Sarchet, Lewis & Clark County MSU Extension Agent and Coordinator of the Montana Heritage Orchard Program, will teach the workshop.
Following the workshop, volunteers are welcomed to stay and assist with pruning the Heritage Orchard. The Crow Creek Orchard, owned by Chad & Claudia Lunt, was established in the early 1900’s. It was planted by Eli Toma, who homesteaded on the property 80-90 years ago. Eli Toma walked out on Eastern Europe during WWI, and came to America as a stowaway. He found his way to Montana where he homesteaded the property
