The Office of Student Engagement and the Associated Students of Montana State University will be hosting the very first MSU Diversity Symposium. This event will provide a broad platform to share and celebrate ideas, research, and art in addition to a flexibility of presenting in any form. Breakout sessions can be composed of poetry and short story readings, research presentations, discussion topics, art pieces, lectures, vignettes, dances, workshops, trainings and more.
The intention of the event is to create a space and time that recognizes, validates, and appreciates all the services, research, and knowledge offered at MSU and the Bozeman Community. We want your voice to be heard, and we can accommodate your presentation, whatever the style, format, or length.
Students, faculty, and staff will be encouraged to attend the 9:00 am brunch, the 12:00 pm lunch, and any and all hourly breakout sessions. In addition, we are collaborating with the Students Against Sexual Assault to promote their Bozeman Monologues event the same night. That event will be hosted at the Emerson Center starting at 7:00 pm.
Schedule for the day can be found at the following link: http://www.montana.edu/engagement/campus-programs-events/diversityandinclusion.html
