Cat-Griz International Soccer Tournament
- Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 1:00pm
International students at Montana State University and the University of Montana have teamed up to create a set of Cat-Griz International Soccer Games. The joint effort grew out of a desire to create a stronger relationship between students at the two schools, something that presidents of MSU's global culture club and University of Montana's International Student Association thought was approachable through a sports and a little friendly competition. Both student groups have assembled teams for the match up and have been practicing.
Each school will host one game, free and open to the public. MSU's game will be Saturday September 8, 2012 at 1pm on Lambert Field (near Roskie Hall) - the public is warmly invited to attend. Pom poms and other MSU gear will be distributed for fans courtesy of MSU's Communication and Public Affairs. The second game will be held on September 15, 2012 at 1pm at the University of Montana in Missoula. For more information, please contact MSU Global Culture Club at firstname.lastname@example.org or the Diversity Awareness Office at 994-5801.
This event is sponsored by the Global Culture Club at Montana State University, University of Montana International Student Association, ASMSU, MSU Communications and Public Affairs, the Office of International Programs and the Diversity Awareness Office at MSU.
