Sack Lunch Seminar
Strand Union Building, 168
A mobile exhibit, "Faces of Social Security," endorsing this cornerstone of economic security, has travelled the state of Montana this summer. The exhibit features portraits of a cross-section of Montanans who receive and/or endorse Social Security and directs people to a large banner which they are invited to sign in support of this vital program. This seminar, presented by Elizabeth Marum, an Organizer from Community Organizations in Action, will focus on a discussion of these individual stories as well as lessons learned in Montana about Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, and what these programs mean for our local Main Street Montana economies.
