IP Veterans, Steve Baird, Craig Krummen, and Devan Padmanabhan, of the Minneapolis law firm of Winthrop & Weinstine, P.A., are eager to deliver a dynamic afternoon of intellectual property presentations and interactive discussion with faculty, businesses, and anyone interested in learning more about identifying and protecting intellectual property.
The attorneys of Winthrop & Weinstine will deliver presentations geared toward those interested in identifying, protecting and harnessing the value of their intangible intellectual property business assets. Steve, Craig, and Devan will lay the foundations for understanding the differences between -- and the advantages and disadvantages of pursuing -- patents, copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets, and other forms of protection through contracts. Current trends and legal changes will be discussed, regarding the legal implications of branding, copyright law, and patent protection, including a discussion of the recent patent law changes in the America Invents Act.
The attorneys are known for their practical and value-driven approach to balancing, prioritizing, layering, and monetizing various intellectual property options for their clients, located in Montana and throughout the country. They welcome questions and an engaging dialogue on these important topics for small, growing, and mature businesses.
Reception with hors d'oeuvres immediately following presentation. RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The seminar will be held at the Montana Manufacturing Extension Center, 2310 University Way, Bldg 2-2.
