Public Lecture: Indian Concept of the Nation and Leadership
Danforth Chapel
Bozeman Hindu Society of MSU invites for a free public lecture on November 9, 2012.
Dr. Sunil Kumar, Associate Professor, San Diago University, California will present a lecture on, "Indian Concept of the Nation and Leadership."
Dr. Kumar will discuss philosophical, social-political, economic and cultural issues from a perspective that has been critically missing from the realms of world literature and social-political discourse and practices for the last several centuries. The lecture will also focus on how Dharm (Natural Law) was abided by Indian rulers for centuries in providing corruption free governments and serving to the Nation most ethically. It will also emphasis on how Dharma can serve as a systematic revolutionary manifesto signaling the beginning of a wholly new era in humanity's eternal yearning for meaningful freedom and happiness.
