Michael Fiebig, Montana Campaign Coordinator for American Rivers, Bozeman, MT will present a seminar on "American Rivers: A Holistic Approach to Protecting and Restoring Rivers".
Mike joined American Rivers in 2011. Prior to that he worked for the Greater Yellowstone Coordinating Committee (GYCC) as a Climate Change Specialist. He has worked on conservation issues in the Northern Rockies and internationally since 2001. As a former river guide and Senior Field Instructor at the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), Mike has paddled over 11,000 miles of rivers in the West. Now as coordinator with American Rivers, works to protect and restore Montana's headwaters rivers and streams by working with local citizens, businesses, elected officials, governmental agencies, and conservation organizations in the region.
