Bozeman Sustainable Transportation Forum
- Friday, November 2, 2012 at 6:00pm
- Bozeman, MT, Commission Room
Join Bob Giordano from the Missoula Institute for Sustainable Transportation (MIST) for a presentation and discussion on the future of Bozeman's streets, trails, transit and development patterns. He'll speak about the successes of Missoula and how they might apply to Bozeman. Bob will give hands-on advice for making cities more walker, biker, transit (and driver) friendly.
From citizens to policy makers, everyone has a role.
Bob Giordano is the founder and executive director of MIST. MIST works to involve people in the creation of healthy and prosperous community transportation systems. He is also the programs director for Free Cycles Missoula, a community bicycling organization formed in 1996. Free Cycles provide bikes, parts and help to the community and has given away over 11,000 free bicycles. More at: http://www.strans.org/
