Wonderlust Friday Forum: Corporate Personhood and the Citizens United Decision
Tom Stonecipher, a Bozeman attorney, will be the speaker at the Wonderlust Friday Forum on November 9 at noon at Pilgrim Congregational Church. Stonecipher has litigated in state and federal courts in Chicago and Montana and argued before the Montana Supreme Court. He will be discussing how corporations attained personhood, Constitutional rights, and virtually unbridled ability to spend money on elections; the road to the Citizens United decision and how it came to be decided. This is an important topic for Montanans who have been in the forefront of court cases here in Montana and in the Supreme Court.
Friday Forums are free and open to the public. Attendees are invited to bring lunch. Cookies and coffee are provided. It takes place at Pilgrim Congregational Church, 2118 S. Third in Bozeman.
