What Single People Need to Know About Estate Planning
As a single person do you know who will receive your property under Montana law if you pass away without writing a will? Do you know when a will has control over your property and when it doesn't? This session of Solid Finances will provide information about the distribution of property under Montana law when a single person dies without writing a will. Dr. Marsha Goetting, MSU Extension Family Economics Specialist, will also highlight tools single people can use to accomplish their estate planning goals such as property titles, beneficiary designations, and trusts.
