"Surfaces of Auschwitz"
An installation by Kali Jirasko, a current graduate student in the architecture program at MSU. Her drawings combined with data are used to challenge the viewers perception about the events that took place.
Artist's Statement:
"This exhibit is intended to spread knowledge of the events at Auschwitz during WWII, as well as illuminate the dilemma of historically sensitive sites: admitting visitors without erasing memory."
This show will be featured February 4th-15th. The artist's reception will be Thursday, February 7th at 5:30pm.
