Strand Union Building, Exit Gallery
"Surfaces of Auschwitz"
An installation by Kali Jirasko, a current graduate student in the architecture program at MSU. Her drawings combined with data are used to challenge the viewers perception about the events that took place.
"This exhibit is intended to spread knowledge of the events at Auschwitz during WWII, as well as illuminate the dilemma of historically sensitive sites: admitting visitors without erasing memory."
This show will be featured February 4th-15th. The artist's reception will be Thursday, February 7th at 5:30pm.
