In 2012, Montana State University adopted a new strategic plan, with one of the three main pillars emphasizing Engagement. In early 2013, the Office of Activities and Engagement developed Faculty Administration and Staff Teamwork for service, or FAST. FAST is the fulfillment our University's assertion that the sharing of intellectual and human assets has a powerful impact on both the Campus Community and the Bozeman and surrounding communities, and is simply the right thing to do.
Join our FAST Service Program! Once per month, Faculty, Administration, and Staff from across the campus join forces to engage in service projects and make a difference in our community. With only one commitment per month, this is a great way to fit service into your busy schedule! Our goal is to report 100 hours of volunteerism by Faculty, Administration, and Staff by April 15, 2013.

President's Plunge to benefit Montana Special Olympics! A Cool Way for People with Warm Hearts to Support Special Olympics Montana!
On Monday, February 18 some of Bozeman's bravest citizens will take the President's Plunge into the East Gallatin Recreation area to benefit Montana Special Olympics. Volunteers are needed to help with participant check- in, parking and crowd organization, escorting plungers off of the ice, and clean up after the event.
When: Monday, February 18, celebrate your day off with service!
Where: East Gallatin Recreation Area
Volunteers needed in 2 shifts:
9:30am - 12:00pm
12:00pm - 2:00pm
