Is the Lone Scientist an American Dream?
How beliefs about STEM careers underlie cross-national differences in STEM interests

A Women in Science and Engineering Seminar, featuring Dr. Elizabeth Brown. Dr. Brown is a Postdoctoral Researcher on Project CURE in the Department of Psychology at MSU. Her research focuses on understanding group differences, goals and motivation, system justification, social change, and political psychology. Her work is rooted in a social role perspective (see Eagly, Wood, & Diekman, 2000, for a review) but expands into theories of motivation/goals and system justification.
