Working with Rural and Tribal Citizen Leaders to Improve Your Research and Service

This faculty workshop will explore new methods for collaboratively working with rural and tribal leaders on community development, research and service projects. The discussion will include cooperative and asset-based approaches that equitably involved all partners in the process and recognize the unique strengths that each partner brings to a project.
Presenters: Bill Yellowtail, Director of Native American Partnerships at MSU; and Bonnie Sachatello-Sawyer, Executive Director of Hopa Mountain, a Bozeman-based nonprofit organization.
